This report investigates how behavioural public policy could help support climate adaptation, and the risks and opportunities this presents. It is a scoping aid for a proposed collaborative research and innovation mission. It integrated a literature review, practitioner interviews, and cause-and-effect mapping with stakeholders to identify climate adaptation challenges, and behaviour change approaches to address those challenges through a Climate Adaptation Mission The Mission is a research collaboration between BehaviourWorks Australia at Monash Sustainable Development Institute, and government and non-government organisations in Australia.
