Die Bilderserie der Deportation der Wiesbadener Jüdinnen und Juden am  1. September 1942

The article is an analysis of a series of photographs of the last major deportation of the Jeewis of Wiesbaden, 29 August - 1 September 1942. Two situations are represented in c. 40 photographs: the registration process at the assembly point and the loading of the train at the Schlachthoframpe, Wiesbaden. The author argues that the photographs have certain distinctive features (quality and composition), that a narrative sequence can be identified by numberings assigned by the photographer, and speculates as to the identity of the photographer.
