Her Honour considers four areas which have attracted substantial legal development in the area of succession law. Her Honour discusses the statutory recognition of informal wills, the ability to grant administration to domestic partners, changes to family maintenance laws and the introduction of statutory wills for those who lack testamentary capacity.
