The Cultivating Compassion Project

Compassion is central to the provision of healthcare, yet how we understand compassion is not clear. This research explores how compassion is understood by those working in mental healthcare. An innovative, visual-art based approach to inquiry using body maps provides a rich description of peoples embodied understandings of compassion with the potential for knowledge mobilisation through public exhibition.
