This research investigates how Australian secondary teachers can effectively integrate (drive) artificial intelligence into their teaching practice. Analysis reveals that successful AI adoption depends on teacher agency within supportive contexts, where educators exercise professional judgment while receiving proper training, ethical guidelines, and institutional backing. When teachers have decision-making authority combined with collaborative environments and respect for their expertise, they can harness AI to enhance student learning and reduce teacher stress.

This video was created using AI tools; evidence of this is there if you watch and listen carefully, and I have left these tell-tale signs in as they reinforce the message to engage with AI outputs critically. It can be shared to stimulate discussion about whether to use or reject AI, as well as what training and support can help teachers use it critically in their teaching. Feel free to use and share it, but please attribute it appropriately.
