It might take Two-Component Systems to combat super bugs

Different Two-Component regulatory systems (TCSs) have been reported to play a major role in the regulation of antibiotic resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii, including our last resort polymyxins drugs. Further characterisation and identification of these systems might help in the development of new therapeutic options against MDR Acinetobacter spp infections.
