In many ways, research data management in the health sector should be straightforward - its importance is understood, there is substantial infrastructure to support it, and researchers and practitioners are motivated to do it well. Looking a little closer, it becomes clear that there is very complicated world lurking below the surface, one which librarians can be a part of, even though the rules are not quite clear, and keep changing. This presentation looks at some of the challenges and opportunities for librarians in the health data space.
