Detection and Attribution of Synthetically Generated Deepfake Imagery

AI-generated deepfake images are a fast-growing challenge in media forensics, but conventional methods of recognising them are now inadequate and inappropriate. Identification and verification of synthetic image sources should be pursued in an open-world setting subject to scrutiny. Through analysis and exposure of model fingerprints, my research can advance progress towards practicable deepfake attribution.
