A New Device for Mechanical Hearts

Sophie Armstrong is a Mechanical Engineering PhD Candidate at Monash University working on flexible biomaterials for cardiovascular applications. Her project centres on materials for a new attachment device for mechanical hearts to decrease surgical risks and complications.
