This practitioner case study shares Julia’s research use journey as a newly-appointed deputy principal at Belgravia High School in Queensland. It focuses on her engagement in a research-focused PL and how she took this learning forward to support the quality use of research across her school.
Julia's case study was developed by the Monash Q Project (2019-2023) and published as part of the resources for the Quality Use of Research Evidence (QURE) Assessment Tool – a confidential online questionnaire enabling educators and education system leaders, as individuals or as a group, to reflect upon and assess their use of research in their practice.
