This practitioner case study focuses on Genevieve, a classroom teacher at Sandy Hills School and how she uses research well in practice. In particular, it explores the skillsets she used to appraise and adapt appropriate research for her setting.
Genevieve’s case study was developed by the Monash Q Project (2019-2023) and published as part of the resources for the Quality Use of Research Evidence (QURE) Assessment Tool – a confidential online questionnaire enabling educators and education system leaders, as individuals or as a group, to reflect upon and assess their use of research in their practice.
