This practitioner case study shares the journey of two educators, Emmanuel and Jade, and how they drew on their research use knowledge and skills to select and apply research that was appropriate for their context.


Emmanuel and Jade’s case study was developed by the Monash Q Project (2019-2023) and published as part of the resources for the Quality Use of Research Evidence (QURE) Assessment Tool – a confidential online questionnaire enabling educators and education system leaders, as individuals or as a group, to reflect upon and assess their use of research in their practice.
