Teaching Systems Thinking and Theory: Management Education at Monash University

This paper seeks to provide some answers to the question, "How do students learn systems theory?" by looking at the development and teaching of a Masters of Organizational Systems (MOS) at Monash University, Australia. The paper examines the implications of the application of a system dynamics approach to the teaching of management and examines the success of some specific approaches that have been used.
