Pride and commitment: patriotism in Australia

Today nationalism is blamed for many ills and positive forms of nationalism are not often discussed or promoted. But while patriotism is unfashionable, it may still have its attractions. This is especially likely to be true for those who are threatened by economic globalism, or other forms of ‘non nationalism’, and who feel a need to belong to a national community. Copyright.
