Environmental degradation ‘sustainability’ and the Murray-Darlling basin

Much of Australia’s agriculture depends on the Murray-Darling Basin, but the Basin ‘s land and water resources are now seriously stressed. A shift to sustainable use of these resources requires lower rates of exploitation.
