Editorial

I am writing this Editorial in the same week as the horrific acts of terrorism wrought on the United States in early September 2001, and popular opinion seems intent on identifying all things Islamic with evil and terror. It is, therefore, a pleasure to introduce a new issue of Colloquy which instead celebrates the cultural diversity of scholarship.
