As guest co-editors, we are pleased to offer International Research in Early Childhood Education (IRECE) readers this first issue of the Journal for 2015. This special issue showcases qualitative research with young children including methods, data collection and analysis in order to encourage early childhood practitioners and researchers to engage in rigorous, yet humanistic early childhood research projects.
