Australia's migration policy and skilled ICT professionals: the case for an overhaul

Australia's migration program is currently geared to recruit large numbers of people through both the permanent and temporary migration programs with Information Technology (IT) skills. This is despite relatively high unemployment in the IT industry and large numbers of Australian students soon to graduate in the field.
