Australia's indigenous population: policy implications of demographic change

The demography of Australia's indigenous population is quite distinct from that of the mainstream. This article is a revised version of a paper presented at the 3rd National Population Outlook Conference of the Bureau of Immigration, Multicultural and Population Research held in Adelaide, 22nd-24th February.
