人体血量占体重的8%，一次献血200-400毫升，只占总血量的5-10%，献血后，储存在肝、脾等器官的血液能及时补充血循环，同时，机体会刺激造血器官加快制造新的血液，血量能在较短时间内得到补充。

献血绝不会传染任何疾病。因为血站所使用的采血器材均为一次性器材，是经过国家要件部门批准的产品；其它用品经过严格消毒，并一次性使用的。对采血环境、献血者采血不为严格消毒，因此，献血是绝对安全且不会感染任何和疾病的。
