四、流感防治知识

流感是呼吸道传染病，传染病性强，传播速度快。由于流感是病毒性传染病，没有特效的治疗手段，因此预防措施非常重要。专家对公众提出如下建议：

要保持良好的个人及环境卫生，勤洗手，使用肥皂或洗手液并用流动水洗手，不用污浊的毛巾擦手。双手接触呼吸道分泌物后（如打喷嚏后）应立即洗手。

打喷嚏或咳嗽时应用手帕或纸巾掩住口鼻，避免飞沫污染他人；流感患者在家或外出时佩戴口罩，以免传染他人。

要均衡饮食、适量运动。充足休息避免过度疲劳。每天开窗通风（冬天要避免穿堂风），保持室内空气新鲜。在流感高发期，尽量不到人多拥挤，空气污浊的场所；不得已必须去时，最好戴口罩。

在流感流行季节前接种流感疫苗也可减少感染的机会或减轻流感症状。

4. Knowledge of Influenza Prevention and Control
Influenza is a respiratory infectious disease that is highly contagious and spreads fast. Since influenza is a viral infectious disease with no specific treatment, preventive measures are very important. Experts advise the public as follows:
To maintain good personal and environmental hygiene, wash hands frequently, use soap or hand sanitizer and wash hands under running water, do not wipe hands with soiled towels. Wash hands immediately after touching respiratory secretions (eg, after sneezing).
Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief or tissue when sneezing or coughing to prevent droplets from contaminating others; people with flu wear a mask at home or when going out to avoid infecting others.
Eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. Get enough rest to avoid fatigue. Open windows every day for ventilation (to avoid drafts in winter) to keep indoor air fresh. During the high-incidence period of influenza, try to avoid crowded places with polluted air; when you have to go, it is best to wear a mask.
Getting the flu vaccine before flu season can also reduce the chance of infection or reduce flu symptoms.
