Head of Operational Research, Monash Emergency Research Collaborative

The Monash Emergency Research Collaborative (MERC) is a multi-disciplinary collaborative network consisting of both clinical and research focused staff in emergency care. We focus on undertaking translational research that provides outcomes aimed at driving the implementation of best practice emergency care.

We are part of the Department of Medicine in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health.

Operational Research in the Monash Emergency Research Collaborative is headed by Dr Andy Lim. Dr Lim’s advanced Emergency Medicine and Business Administration qualifications aid research that informs the management of departments and organisations.
