Angklung set

These shaken bamboo idiophones suspended on a stand are shown with their collector Margaret Kartomi. Each angklung instrument consists of 2-4 tubes and sounds a single pitch (and its octave or 2 octaves) of the diatonic scale. The stand holds 4 octaves of angklung. Photo: Chris Basile, 2014.
