  The Blood Synergy Open Meeting, held on the 3rd of May 2022, provided the Blood Synergy team with a platform to discuss the evidence gaps and research priorities in transfusion to support patients after trauma, with critical illness, and blood disorders.

The background information for the National Transfusion Dataset (NTD) was presented by Dr Kim Huynh at the Open Meeting.
