Line listed data for dengue and severe dengue notified cases in Bello, Medellin and Itagui, 2008-2017

<p dir="ltr">This dataset holds line listed records of dengue and severe dengue case notifications to the Colombian disease surveillance system (SIVIGILA) in 2008-2017 for the thee Wolbachia-treated cities of Bello, Medellin and Itagui. It underlies the analysis of the age and sex distribution of dengue cases in those cities, and the descriptive analysis of baseline dengue burden prior to Wolbachia implementation, reported in the paper by Velez et al "Reduced dengue incidence following city-wide wMel Wolbachia mosquito releases throughout three Colombian cities: interrupted time series analysis and a prospective case-control study" published in PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases in 2023.</p><p dir="ltr">Dengue case data source: https://portalsivigila.ins.gov.co/Paginas/Vigilancia-Rutinaria.aspx</p>
