The aim of the experiment was to investigate potential alterations in neonates traits caused by a fishing-capture stress experienced by the mothers during late-pregnancy in Trygonorrhina dumerilii, a viviparous chondrichthyan species. This dataset includes data collected from control neonates, born from unstressed mothers, and from Trawl neonates, born from mothers that experiences a trawling simulation. The investigated traits include: total length, body mass, granulocytes to lympocytes ratio (a proxy for stress condition) and volume of internal yolk sac at birth, yolk consumption and length and body mass growth within the first month after birth, swimming performance and burying and boldness behaviour. A R script file is also available containing the codes used for the different statistical analysis and graphs.
