The mPAT appraoch (Beilharz et al 2017; Genetics) was used to quantitate mRNA expression and poly (A)-tail length distribution changes in the early fly embryo by amplicon sequencing.
"fastq-files.tar.gz" contains short reads from two experiments following the mPAT protocol, in FASTQ format. The reads have been subsetted to include only reads relating to the nos, pgc, and tim10 genes. Primers used to amplify these genes are listed in "primers.csv", excluding the adaptor sequence component of these primers. Read counts and Reads Per Million for these genes are listed in "mPAT-reads.csv".
