This video showcases an intergenerational arts-based project that explores waste wisdoms through the 'Our Waste, Our Place, Our Actions' project that bought together seniors, primary school children and pre-service teachers to share intergenerational wisdom about waste while creating individual and shared artworks.

The participants worked across age groups to explore how the impact of waste on wildlife is an environmental concern and how creative action can build positive awareness about waste through art.

Participants included seniors from the University of the Third Age (U3A); Primary school children and pre-service teachers and staff from Monash University.

Funding

This place-making project was funded by a Mornington Peninsula Place-making grant.
