The transfer of German surface-to-air missile technology to the Western Allies after 1945

thesis
posted on 2019-12-19, 06:29 authored by JAMES MILLS
The topic of my thesis is about the transfer of surface-to-air missile (SAM) technology from Nazi Germany to the United Kingdom, United States and France -- the Western Allies -- to the exclusion of the Soviet Union , towards the conclusion of the Second World War in Europe (1939-1945) and during the Allies' occupation of Germany from 1945 to 1949. My research has determined that German scientific and engineering expertise with SAM technology made a significant contribution to SAM development in the three victor countries during the early period of the Cold War up until around 1960.
