Organocatalytic-Based Strategies for Complex Molecule Synthesis

thesis
posted on 2018-11-18, 10:14 authored by JIANWEN JIN
This thesis describes new chiral Brønsted acid catalyzed asymmetric reactions of alcohol pro-electrophiles as novel synthetic strategies for construction of complex molecule. The findings in this thesis not only offer new synthetic methods of pro-electrophiles in the field of chiral Brønsted acid catalysis, but also encourage the further development of asymmetric strategies in reactions where there is such intrinsic low directionality through the installation of a directing group.
