Oral lipid-based drug delivery: Inhibiting and eliminating digestion to improve absorption of poorly soluble drugs.

This thesis examines the impact of controlling or eliminating fat digestion on the absorption of drugs in the gut. It identifies two strategies to control or evade digestion that improve blood concentrations of therapeutics. These studies are some of the first to establish a link between digestion control and improved drug uptake.
