The research approach and process involved using an adapted action research methodology to identify such leadership dispositions and situates youth leadership development in the context of engaging youths in social capital initiatives. Findings from this study contributes to an understanding of how leadership dispositions can be used to design leadership programmes that best fit individual youth development psycho-social and wider social capital values for young people and the communities they serve.
