Calcitonin receptor (CTR) is a member of the class B G protein-coupled receptor with diverse physiological roles. In the first project of my thesis I examined CTR’s role in the deadly brain tumour glioblastoma multiforme. In the second project of my thesis I looked at the molecular determinants of mechanism of the CTR activation and signalling.
