The purpose of this study was to better understand how young adults perceived and interacted with the resources, affordances and barriers for active transport by walking in Hong Kong. The resultant Socio-ecological Framework for Active Transport by Walking in Hong Kong (QSEFAT – Hong Kong) in this study provides a guiding framework for future study of active transport and contributes new insights to support existing causal frames and directions for policy.
