Alzheimer's disease is a significant global public health concern affecting almost 50 million people worldwide. Misai kucing [Orthosiphon stamineus(OS)] is one of the priority herbs under the national key economic plants identified by Ministry of Agriculture, Malaysia. This PhD dissertation explored the anti-Alzheimer’s potential of OS using various experimental models of Alzheimer’s disease. Based on research findings from this work, it can be corroborated that OS is indeed a promising candidate in reversing cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease.
