Effect of Alkali Metals in Catalytic and Stoichiometric Reactions of Main-Group Organometallic Complexes with Nitriles and β,γ-Unsaturated Amines

This thesis explores the effects of different alkali metals in the reactions of organometallic complexes with various nitrogen containing compounds. Previously reported reactions are investigated in order to establish a better understanding, which leads to the development of a new class of reactions.
