This thesis is concerned with the analysis and design of thin-walled tubular members made of cold-formed circular hollow sections (CHS). In particular, it deals with hollow and concrete-filled tubes in bending. The background information required to provide the basis for developing new design rules for empty and void-filled cold-formed CHS in bending was reviewed.
