This study aimed to investigate the application of complexes of bismuth, antimony, gallium and indium as potential therapeutics. The aforementioned complexes were tested for their anti-microbial activity against the neglected tropical disease, Leishmaniasis. Moderate to excellent selectivity was observed, alluding to good future prospects for these complexes in the medical industry.
