My project was to further examine the role of CDA1 in a scenario similar to the clinical setting were I experimentally targeted CDA1 after the disease has been established. Indeed, my study confirms that targeting CDA1 at early stages of diabetic kidney disease was effective in reducing kidney scarring in experimental diabetic mice. %I Monash University
