The analyses revealed that parents who home educate reported higher levels of wellbeing and a reduced impact of stress on their wellbeing. The most popular primary motivations were to educate a child without the structure of a school environment, to increase family bonds and to assist a child with an impairment or disability. This study informs policymakers and parents in the area of home education. 2017-07-16 23:37:59 Home education Homeschooling parental wellbeing Motivation to home educate parents who home educate Education systems not elsewhere classified Educational Psychology Developmental and Educational Psychology
