The findings of this research include that Kenyan female students studying in Australian universities have multiple, shifting and contextual identities. Their Kenyan socio-economic background, experiences of discrimination and negative representations of African women in Australia, and empowerment from their studies influence the ways in which they construct their identities. 2017-06-05 23:28:03 gender international education race African female students international students critical race feminism Education Sociology
