Quality of data model for supporting mobile decision making Hodgkin, Julie San Pedro, Jocelyn Burstein, Frada 10.4225/03/57DB79B1B199D https://bridges.monash.edu/articles/conference_contribution/Quality_of_data_model_for_supporting_mobile_decision_making/3833517 This paper describes research investigating ways in which a mobile decision support system might be implemented. Our view is that the mobile decision maker will be better supported if he/she is aware of the Quality of the Data (QoD) used in deriving the decision, and how QoD improves or deteriorates while he/she is on the move. We propose a QoD model that takes into account static and dynamic properties of the mobile decision making environment, use multicriteria decision analysis to represent the user’s decision model and to derive a single QoD parameter, and investigate use of powerful graphics to relay information to the user.<div><br></div><div>Presented at: IFIP International Conference on Decision Support Systems; 2004 Jul 1-3; Prato, Italy. p. 372-380.</div><div><br></div><div>Rights: Hodgkin, J., San Pedro, J., Burstein, F. © 2004.
